'Rope' by Patrick Hamilton

TMLT is pleased to present a Hamilton and Hitchcock's Rope

This brilliantly tense play penned by Patrick Hamilton in 1929 was the inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1948 classic film which this production is based on.

There is no such thing as the perfect murder. Or is there?

Two wealthy flatmates, believing themselves to be intellectually superior to their contemporaries, murder their college friend purely to see if they can get away with it.  They then throw a party, serving food from the top of the chest where they have hidden the body.

Their guests include both David's father and fiancée, as well as college professor Rupert Cadell, whose lectures inadvertently inspired the killing.

Cost: $18 per ticket. $15 concession card holders. Or book a table of 8 for $120.

Cabaret style seating - tables of 8. BYO drinks, snacks & canapés.
